Our mission is growing!

The Labor Market and Social Services Administration in Lund is in the midst of a major initiative focused on easily accessible and needs-based support for children and young people and their families.

Do you want to strengthen our team that offers flexible family treatment for younger children? Then look here!

About the role and your tasks

The Labor Market and Social Services Administration is seeking a family therapist for the Resource Unit for children and young people to work in our Child Team primarily with children aged 0-12 years. Work with interventions for older children may also occur to some extent.

Within the unit, we work with assignments from our investigative units, such as family treatment, parental support, and social pedagogical interventions in close collaboration with our teams for older children.

The Child Team, consisting of six employees, works with interventions for children aged 0-12 years and their families. We operate from the municipal house Kristallen where we meet families but also visit families' homes or other arenas in the child's daily life during our workday. We are looking for employees who are accustomed to working with change processes based on clear goals and the child's needs and perspectives.

You need to have the ability to switch between therapeutic and compensatory approaches and can make important priorities in various situations that arise, sometimes of an urgent nature. Assignments may include work with interaction, communication, and providing support in parenting strategies. The work is done in close collaboration with investigative social workers and may also involve the child's network and other professionals.

We are looking for you

It is important that you have experience working in social services and experience working with interventions for children and parents. The tasks require that you are a social worker or have another higher education degree that we assess as equivalent.

It is advantageous if you have experience in interaction treatment, pedagogical and practical social work, as well as good knowledge of attachment theory, systems theory, or learning theory. Knowledge of methods such as Marte Meo, Trygghetscirkeln, Tryggare barn, ABC, or Komet is also advantageous, as well as basic psychotherapeutic training.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English and be accustomed to working with documentation, preferably through Journal Digital. It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of several languages.

A driver's license is a requirement for the position.

We offer you

In the Resource Unit for children and young people, you will work in a team with many colleagues who have broad expertise and extensive experience. We offer method supervision, collegial guidance, and an introduction to our administration and a job in a trust-based organization that is constantly developing. Our interventions follow the needs of the target group and current knowledge, and there is a culture within the unit of sharing what we know.

As an employee with us, you will be offered a range of benefits focused on balance, security, and health.
